About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

That looks like one of BA’s special business-class A318s that go to New York – not many planes that big can use City.

In a legal way that is right. But you’d be surprised what could land in the City in an emergency on a clear runway. I used to be a private pilot with over 1,000 hours in command, so I do know a bit, even if most of my airliner knowledge is very second hand and years old.
I’ve checked the schedules and as it was about 20:00, I doubt it was a New York flight.
