92 Clubs – A Change of Rules

The last few days have been very tiring.  Especially when it rains.

So there are two rule changes.

  1. I will now use taxis, especially as the driver often makes an excellent cameraman for the picture.
  2. I’m not sure about this, but achieving all the grounds in a month may just be impossible.  So I’ll attempt to set a record, by carrying on into November if required.

Is this a retrograde step?

The alternative would be to use hotels more often, but then that woud be expensive.

  1. These rule changes seem good to me. It will stop you getting totally wet in the heavy rain; getting very wet and then not having a proper opportunity to dry off and warm up is not good for people on a regular basis.

Neither is not having rest days. If you build in some rest days and extend the time limit to say 5th November, then you have still achieved an amazing feat.

  2. Agreed – setting a record is good (has anyone done it anyway?).

  3. Agreed . . . it is more important to take the time in this first run.

You are basically surveying the Urban Trek, to set the challenge for others: a bit like Around the World in 80 Days.

People, do not realise how tough it is to set Targets for an Urban Trek, and have to face the coordination of Transport, Food & Accomodation Problems.

Also Pace Yourself . . there is planty of time to claim the first record . . .
“Around the Clubs in 80 Days” sound good . . .
