L’ve Got Petrol

My son has parked his car in my garage, so if I needed some petrol, L suspect I could syphon some out.

But as I  don’t, the petrol in his car is safe.

And as it’s only one of the last proper Minis, I would probably only get a couple of mouthfuls!

I’ll just walk to the bus as normal.

  1. Who says the buses will still be running??
How do you think the goods in the shops…get to the stores??

    Fresh produce doesnt wait….

Storing petrol in domestic situations will never be a good idea…someone will make an error…can see this one happening….

    • I have a feeling that in London, from what I can remember of something about thirty years ago, that some of the bus garages are either on pipeline or have massive stocks. It was organised as part of Civil Defence. As it is, there are very few garages inside the North/South Circular and vehicle usage is quite low.

The only food shortage so far, is one type of the Eat Natural Breakfast Cereal. But that’s computerised ordering for you.

  2. The situation here is silly. Having passed several petrol stations which had sold out of petrol, I queued nearly 30 minutes to fill up at Morrisons near where I live. I only filled up because being disabled and unable to walk far and having problems with buses, if I dont have petrol I cant get far, I still about 1/3rd tank, but didnt want to wait until I needed to fill up, probably Tuesday of next week, because if this continues, the stocks may be very low.
