The French Try Every Way to Leave the Country
The French seem to have panicked about the prospect of a new very left-wing government, as this article shows.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

At least he wasn’t drunk, according to les flics. But I suspect he needs to take his driving and/or eye tests again.

Well if he wasn’t drunk that’s even worse ahahah. But anyway, I think he’s more likely to have panicked like that about the prospect of Sarkozy being elected a second time.

Sarko always has the air of the small dictator about him. I suspect that he uses the biscuit tin method of contraception. We haven’t had a small Prime Minister for decades.
I did read too that Sarko has thought about taxing all French citizens even if they don’t live in France. I think the US does that on US citizens, but there would be a terrible uproar if a UK government did that for all UK citizens, as UK citizens outside of the UK don’t get a vote in UK elections.
