This Dreadful Weather

Carol Kirkwood’s forecasts are still as good as ever. But why has the weather got so bad since BBC Breakfast moved to the Capital of Rain, Manchester?

Is it the Devil getting his own back? As he wants to see what’s going on in the capital of this country, not some second-rate city in the North.

This is just the type of comment the rest of the country expects from people from London. This is OK for us so you will not want any of our water as you have enough and the rain you are getting is not required. I am sitting in Cape Town at present and they would love some rain just now and sure as hell would not complain like the Londoners.

- Don’t forget to visit the penguins at Boulder! Cloved those penguins. I didn’t like Robben Island, as I was so seasick getting there and back. Is it business or pleasure?

About This Blog

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.

But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.

And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
