Is Two Australian Dollars A Day Too Much?
Gina “Who Ate All The Pies?” Reinhart thinks so according to this report in the LA Times.
Obviously, you have to compete, but there are other ways to do it.
CrossRail faced with Europe’s largest project and one of the biggest tunnelling projects ever, decided that it was better to use bigger machines and upskill the workforce. They even created TUCA, which I have called, London’s University of Hole Digging.
The unloved Reinhart, doesn’t seem to believe in the principle that what goes around comes around. There are endless examples, where investment has repaid itself many times, by just being sensible with it. Some of the transport links for the Olympics have allowed youngsters to travel to get their first good job.
I take it, she would feel that we should recreate the East End sweatshops, so that we can employ them at the equivalent of two Australian dollars a day.
Gina is in a court case with her children . . . her fortune also has other interests : her father’s {Lang Hancock} trust fund for his grandchildren . . . the trust was due to be transfered to her Children at age 25 {date was then altered to 2065} [this upset some of the kids} . . . the court case occurred about the 2065 changes made by Gina . . . Look it up . . . Court Case still ongoing . . . {note was changed back for 2065, after public disclosure, for some legal ploy}.
With Iron Ore dropping from $100 / tonne to expected $50 in 2013 . . . STOP the Projects . . .now what has come out is the problems of Cash Flows not paying the Interest on projects to date . . . keep an eye of this outcome . . . the taxpayers will now have to pay the Billionaires Interest accounts {by giving tax loses, drawing back on some earlier profits paid} . . . The Wealthy Mine Owners claiming they need help.
Also about 6 coal mines shutting down overnight . . . Closing Operating Mines . . .
Oops, EU / USA etc have their Bankers ripping the heart out of business.
OZ is much more better . . . we now have our Billionaires Crying Poor.
We MUST help them save OZ jobs: so that when all the projects get completed and the Mines open up again, there is somewhere for the $2 per day, workers from Africa can work.

I read about it. She seems a really nice person. The sort of person, you’d pop next door to borrow a cup of sugar. I’ve known a few big millionaires in my time and most were kind and generous. The exception was a wioman, who did sod all to get her money, except come out of the right womb. I even trod on one of the richest women in the world and she just smiled and tut-tutted A few years later her staff were very kind to me when C died. So she held no hard feelings.
Let’s hope they shut the coal mines. I’ve always felt that global warming is much more important. Especially as mining coal kills so many.
