Tesco’s Poor Offerings
I went back to Woodgrange Park station, to see if I could learn more about the junction between the Gospel Oak to Barking line and the Great Eastern Main line.
But as one does, I got hungry and popped into a local Tesco Express to get a snack.
I did manage a drink, as small Innocent Smoothies were on offer, but for snacks, it was either usual gluten-rich rubbish or packs of three chocolate bars. No wonder half the country is going to Hell in a handcart!
So I left hungry!

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Ours usually have nice layered salads and fruit salads which are GF. Since Innocent Smoothues have more sugar than coke, I rarely have them.

I don’t think I saw anything like that. It was attached to an Esso garage and it seemed it’s biggest sales were sandwiches and tobacco. It was extremely depressing.

We have one around the corner from where we live, a freestanding one. Handy to pop into as I come off motorway on way home. Or way out – Starbucks sandwich is currently tuna, so no use to me, and although the M&S ones are nice, the bread is very crumbly to eat in a lunchtime meeting.
