Why Should I Subsidise Fuel For Drivers In Remote Areas?
The government has announced that it might subsidise fuel for drivers in remote areas, as is reported here.
If people want to live in areas where costs are high, but perhaps they like the area, they should pay for the consequences of their actions.

Having lived in rural areas for a lot of my life, there are better ways and possibly to adjust Council Tax to the costs of the area is better, as that helps everyone and not just those who can afford a car.
In my experience, those that complain loudest about the lack of services and costs in rural areas are the incomers and the second home owners.
