Republique Remembers Charlie
One of the reasons I went to Paris was to go to the Place de la Republique to pay my respects after the Charlie Hebdo shooting.
Like my father, I am a great believer in free speech and agree totally with Voltaire.
I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.
Unfortunately criticism is now seen in many countries and organisations as severe disloyalty and could even suffer the ultimate punishment,

I agree about free speech as well, I am Christian and I have no issue with jokes and cartoons about Christianity – I particularly like the piece about an overheard conversation in Starbucks between and atheist and a Christian.

A friend, who’s a well-published cartoonist, is always doing jokes about vicars. He joked to me, he was a bit worried about the Anglicans.
