The Medals Over Morals Mentality Disgusts Me

In an IPC statement, Craven said: “I believe the Russian government has catastrophically failed its Para athletes. Their medals over morals mentality disgusts me.
I am doing my own one man protest, in that every time I see a Russian in an Olympic event, I give them a double-handed, two fingered salute, as only a true Brit can.

I do feel for the honest Russian Paralympians; some of them will have been so careful over their choice of medications prescribed for issues related to their disability, often not using the most effective one, because they chose to be certain that they remained within the legal guidelines for drugs allowed in sports. And sadly, because of government sponsored cheating, they can no longer take part. The Russian government has a lot to answer for.
