Some Class 700 Trains Now Have Tables
I took this picture yesterday, on a Class 700 train.
But they still have hard seats, no wi-fi and no power sockets.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

Is it possible to add padding to an existing seat? If they could add some padding plus wifi, sockets it would actually be a great train.

Just went to Welwyn Garden City for a drink with a friend.
Went up in a Class 313 and back in a Class 700.
I do think that the seats in the forty-year-old British Rail scrapyard special were better!
