The title of this post, is the same as that of this article on Rail Magazine.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

The problem is the government was so successful at frightening people off the railways at tge height of the pandemic that now people are frightened to use railways and so opt to travel by road without concern about the higher risks of deaths and injuries that road transport has !
Another problem is millions of people who held season tickets and thus were able to travel for little or no cost at weekends now don’t hold these tickets and thus have to pay fares to travel at weekends and bank holidays and thus no longer travel into cities like London or Manchester at weekends thousands affecting businesses like entertainment and shopping venues.
As the article says you have 1 chance in around 11,000 journeys of catching Covid19 on trains it would be interesting to know any difference wearing a mask has as the uncomfortable nature of masks plays a large deterrent to travelling!
