Restoring Your Railway Planning Funds Allocated
The title of this post, is the same as that of this article on Railway Gazette.

The Department for Transport has announced the successful bidders for the third ’and for the foreseeable future final’ round of funding from the Restoring Your Railway programme’s Ideas Fund.
The DfT received eighty-nine applications and these were the lucky thirteen.

The DfT will provide up to £50 000 to cover 75% of the cost of developing early-stage proposals and business cases for each scheme.
gov has provided an update on progress https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/restoring-your-railway-fund-programme-update Lists 8 projects that are being delivered (Okehampton and Northumberland, plus 6 stns), and a further 13 that are progressing past SOBC, of which 6 are stns.

However, 4 of the latter – Portishead (still awaiting approval), Waterside (some discussion of whether it should terminate at Hythe for the time being), Deeside (waiting for TfW?), Wellington & Cullompton – are not mentioned in a separate press release https://www.gov.uk/government/news/moving-ahead-to-reopen-railway-lines-and-stations-including-one-not-used-since-reign-of-king-george-v
