What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

That is truly amazing! I loathe the rebuilt London Bridge station and avoid it whenever I can, but I’d make an exception to hear this, as I love organ music – classical, electric or mechanical. The sound must be extraordinary in that location. If St Pancras had ever been closed, as British Rail had wanted, that would have been the perfect place for a cathedral-sized organ. Mind you, I have heard some excellent piano playing there – St P seems to attract a higher class of musician!

The ‘Psychedelic Druid’ in the video is Brendan Kavanagh, who’s often in St P – though there he generally plays boogie woogie – search on Youtube. There was even a Radio 4 programme on St P, including the fellow who tunes the things https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b097cjzc
