Superloop -February 2024

This article on the Londonist, shows the latest status of the Superloop on this TfL map.

Note.

The recently opened; SL3 has a lot of stops including Abbey Wood on the Elizabeth Line.
SL4 will go through the Silvertown Tunnel.
Since it opened, I’ve never needed to use a Superloop route going about my daily business.

I have this feeling, that a couple of years after it fully opens, there will be a few modifications to the route.

Living by Bell Corner in Walthamstow I regularly see SL1 buses coming and going and have yet to see one more than maybe 20% full. Odd as they parallel the 34 for part of the route and the 34 is a very popular bus with heavy loading. It would be interesting to see how well loaded the other SL routes are.

If there are any SL users out there It would be interesting to hear how well utilised they are.

About This Blog

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.

But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.

And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
