I’ve just had one of my typical late lunches.
It was one parcel of Marks and Spencer’s smoked salmon pate on toast, washed down with a half-litre bottle of Adnams Ghost Ship 0.5 % beer.
O’ll probably have the second parcel of salmon for lunch tomorrow.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

Thank you for this information; I am allergic to fish, but Neil really enjoys it. But since I an unable to do the shopping, he does it and tends not to treat himself to thinks like salmon.

I now use Ocado and this M & S salmon came from them.
For every delivery and the last one was at 0730, by my choice, they just put the bags inside my door.
Their staff are very helpful and always on time.
Only one problem, when they substituted a product with gluten for a gluten-free one.
