The Tories took on tens of thousands of bean counters and paper shufflers to deal with the mountains of self imposed post Brexit (or more acurately post Single Market exit) bureaucracy. Importers and exporters have had to take on loads of customs progressers. These “desk donkeys” who produce nothing, but just add cost should be put out to grass.
