Eco-Friendly Party Bag Wrapping
I usually do the party bags for Christmas Day and these pictures show how I wrap the goodies.
Note.
- The cotton drawstring bags come from The Clever Baggers.
- I found the little plastic pots called Mini Bites in Robert Dyas.
- The Mini Bites have a screw lid, which is easier to open than most packaging.
They have lots of reusable possibilities.
- Last night, I found that the capacity of one Mini-Bite is ideal for frozen peas for one.
- I keep shoes in the cotton bags.
- I shall be using a Mini Bite to hold a selection of my daily pills.
- As the pictures show, they hold a sensible portion of nuts, sweets or chocolate.
- Are they a daily pack of forbidden foods, like chocolate and sweets?
We need more packaging ideas like these!
My Christmas Wrapping
I don’t use traditional paper, which because of all the glitter goes into landfill.
I use these coloured cotton bags from Clever Baggers, which are very reasonably priced.
I hope most get reused.
I Don’t Wrap Christmas Presents Traditionally!
I don’t give many presents, as I only have three relatives, who I’m in contact with.
These are the presents all lined up on Christmas Day, before taking them to Christmas lunch!
The drawstring bags are bought on-line from The Clever Baggers.
The larger pink ones are just £0.72, which is probably cheaper than traditional wrapping paper.
Putting the presents into a bag and pulling the string is probably a lot easier, especially if you have a gammy hand, as I sometimes do!
They would also be ideal in a family with lots of children, as each could have their own colour.
As I nearly ran out of bags this Christmas, I have just placed an order to replenish my stock.
Looking After My Shoes
Keeping shoes clean between wearing is difficult in this house, as for some reason they get dusty, if left in a drawer. So I bought these bags from the Clever Baggers.
At just £0.89 each, I can’t complain.
