How To Give a Pill to a Basset Hound
Of all the dogs we’ve had, we’ve never had one quite so easy to give a pill to as Lizzie, the basset hound! She usually just lies on her back and you drop it over her tongue and then stroke it down.
This perhaps wasn’t the best clip, so I’ll probably try to get a better one at a later date.

Hi I could not get the video, I am a widow, my husband died 9 years ago 2 mos before our 2 nd wedding anniv, our dog is now 12 and I have Rheumatoid arth in my fingers, I can’t get the pills down his alligator mouth, and when I try to push it in the sides, he just hides it there, when I let go he spits it out, I have tried peanut butter, I have tried a/c special died and now I tried jelly- help
