Cable Theft Halts Stansted Express

That’s what the Evening Standard is reporting.

Every day there is more of these thefts and the BBC South East News every morning, always contains several stories that could be down to cable theft.

  1. Now it could well be theft…but for each cable..the metal must be bought..ie £ changed hands…

    Who is paying for the cable? When, where and how much??

    • Ask anybody in Suffolk, Essex, Lincs or Hertfordshire and they’ll all give the same answer.

      It should be a criminal offence to pay or receive cash for scrap metal.
