That’s what the Evening Standard is reporting.
Every day there is more of these thefts and the BBC South East News every morning, always contains several stories that could be down to cable theft.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
Now it could well be theft…but for each cable..the metal must be bought..ie £ changed hands…
Who is paying for the cable? When, where and how much??

Ask anybody in Suffolk, Essex, Lincs or Hertfordshire and they’ll all give the same answer.
It should be a criminal offence to pay or receive cash for scrap metal.
