The App List
The Sunday Times today has a section called The App List. As I don’t even have a smart phone, should I ask for a refund?
Should we revert to the original nickname of mobile phones of a poserphone for smart phones?

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
After many years of thinking smartphones were a waste of time and money, I switched when the iPhone 4s came out, because my disability means that I find it impossible to text etc on a normal phone, because I cant produce the consecutive presses needed on a phone with only the numbers 1 – 9, indeed I sometimes had problems dialling. I can now speak a text, ask the phone to call a particular person or number, and I have also found lots and lots of uses for it, and am very impressed with it. It is a tool which enhances my ability to communicate with people.
