A Dunking Biscuit for Coeliacs
I have found that Waitrose’s new gluten-free ginger biscuits dunk well.
My mother and my late wife, C, would be horrified at the picture. Dunking was not for polite society!
But my mother would have been pleased that I’ve stopped biting my nails, which C knew anyway.

My paternal Grandfather, was a great tease. He knew my mother would put on airs & graces in his presence.
He took a great delight, of dipping his biscuits in his Black Tea. THEN for an encore . . . he would tip his tea, into the saucer, and make horrible blowing sounds to cool the Tea in the saucer, and then the loudest slurps ever, as he drunk from the saucer . . . I added insult to injury, by always laughing out loud.
With the Biggest Impish smile . . ..” That’s best cuppa, I’ve had for years, Greta” . . .
A typical Cornishman {celtic} sense of teasing . . . my Mum fell for it every time, only to melt to his Charm, when he thanked her, for the Best Cuppa Ever.
