I had coffee coming home and it was served hot with cold milk.

I only know one person, who is specific about having their coffee like that and like the train, she has connections to Hull, as she was born and grew up there.
Perhaps it’s a Hullensian thing.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

Unless specifically asked for hot I have never seen coffee served with milk that is not cold.
And I have only driven through Hull and never had coffee there.

I always make my own coffee with cold milk, but out I usually have cappuccinos.
