Mid-Sized Shepherd’s Pies
I recently bought two small Le Creuset dishes that were on offer in John Lewis.
So I made some of my Shepherd’s Pie mixture and made a large individual pie in each.
I then cooked one and ate it as I often do, with lashings of tomato sauce.
i wonder if you could have a surprise pie party, as various pies can be made this way. So some would get fish, others meat of various sorts and you might even throw in a few veggie ones.

When my children were small, I often made variations of this type of pie – sausage and baked beans, fish (for them not me), various veggie ones, and sometimes different veg mashed into the potato as layers. They were easy, nutritious and could be made ahead and kept in the fridge until they needed to be cooked

I have several ones. I like the idea of the pie party. Perhaps as a fund raising idea, in that if you don’t like what you draw, you can buy another. Developed it could be great fun!

It could be fun, but with an anaphylactic reaction to certain fish (mostly the oily ones) I wouldn’t ever risk buying one – and might be dubious about buying one even if I knew what was in it, because of contamination.

I think you’d put the allergies on the pies. My fish pie, also has celery in it. The oddest allergy I know, is a friend, who’s allergic to chickpeas. Her doctor doesn’t know of another.
