Endless Stair
Endless Stair is according to its publicity, a striking sculpture composed of 15 Escher-like interlocking staircases. For more about M C Escher look here.
The structure was certainly attracting attention by the Tate Modern.
Note the picture from the Millennium Bridge which shows it in front of the Tate Modern at the right.

Finally – a modern sculpture I can see a point to – I dont understand modern art at all, but this is interesting and keeps children entertained!

There used to be a water sculpture in Liverpool, where buckets filled and emptied. I’ve looked for it recently, but can’t find it. Has it been removed, as people would put soap powder in it!

I have a vague memory of that one. And yes, I can imagine the Liverpudlian humour thinking soap powder in it was a good idea!

It’s still there, but doesn’t always run.

Enjoy Liverpool, not been there for ages, at present I am so busy I am worn out – Helen (youngest daughter) separated from her partner 2 months ago and moved back with us for a few weeks whilst she found somewhere else to move into, then broke her foot very badly 3 weeks ago, she will be in plaster for at least 3 months and no guarantee that she wont need surgery – she has a lisfranc injury apparently. Plus my mother is causing huge issues, and I have just started a part time theology course which has a weekly commitment of about 15 hours.
