Byron Bay Railroad would be a place I’d like to visit, but Australia is too far to go to see a technological development. Hamburg was another thing!

there’s an interesting snippet on Sono Motors blog https://sonomotors.com/en/blog/solar-will-be-the-next-big-thing/ It’s mainly about their integration of solar cells with road vehicles (which several other companies are working towards), but towards the bottom it mentions that they’re in talks with a train manfacturer to do the same. Interesting to speculate who that might be, given that they’re in Germany.

towards the bottom, Growing B2B Solar Business graphic includes “Train OEM”, tho doesn’t specify which one, so presumably just exploratory talks.
