An Inappropriate Advert
I didn’t think that this taxi-advert was in good taste.
No Time To Die has been put back to the 12th of November.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Indeed. I note the same advert while on my occasional walk in south London the other day and felt the same. Even in December it might be awkward launching the film with this title.

I was on the plane home in mid-March and there was an ad for it in the back of the seat.
“No Time To Die, in cinemas April 2, sponsored by Heineken. WIN a trip to Italy with your next bottle!”

It’s the new James Bond film that was due for release on 2nd April but has been deferred to the autumn.
‘ Die’ and ‘ live’ are common Bond film tiles – No Time To Die follows on Die Another Day while we also had Live and Let Die .
No doubt this advertisement was booked months in advance while trailer had already been released .
