The title of this post, is the same as that of this article on Hydrogen Fuel News.
I have no interest in buying any vehicle, let alone a big American pickup.
But I found the article an interesting comparison between a battery-powered vehicle and what could be done with hydrogen.
They feel that the hydrogen-powered vehicle will have a longer range, a better towing capability and have better climate-control.

Some years ago I told the senior management of VAG, they would rue the day they bet on diesel. Today I’d say the same about Electric cars. Hydrogen is the logical green fuel for most people.

I would agree in general! Except for one group; train and tram passengers. Battery and charging technology will steal the market.
But not rail-freight, as I don’t believe you can build a 2.5 MW battery rail locomotive, but you can build a hydrogen-powered locomotive of that size in a current body.
You would use a small gas-turbine though!
