The Lady In A Sari With A Fag
She was standing in Leicester Square watching people with a partner.
It just didn’t go!

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

It is very unusual – especially if her head is covered because then she may be Muslim rather than Hindu and Muslims don’t approve of cigarettes or alcohol. Not sure about Hindus, I don’t really know any.

She didn’t have her head covered and she looked to be Hindu.

If you asked your MP to ask Rishi at PMQ if Hindu’s smoke, do you think he would? That said is a Hindu lady who sometimes comes to Chapel Zoom service. and do the Zoom bits – putting the hymns up on the computer screen etc. But she is quite an overwhelming person, and she is desperate to introduce me to her son for some reason. So I don’t want to ask her. There are all kinds of faith backgrounds in the chapel – a lot of ex-Methodists, but also people who were Mormon, Muslim, Anglican, Roman Catholic, Jewish, Atheist, Sikh etc. Just about everything really. I like it because I don’t have to chant creeds that I am not sure I accept. We have no written creed, we believe in God, and whatever else feels right to us. And we are universalist, don’t believe that only certain religions go to heaven.
