New Green Party Leader Was Hypnotherapist Who Claimed Women Could Increase Breast Sizes With Minds
The title of this post, is the same as that of this article on The Telegraph.
This is the sub-heading.
Zack Polanski elected after victory over joint bid by Adrian Ramsay and Ellie Chowns
These two introductory paragraphs add more details.
A former hypnotherapist who claimed women could increase their breast sizes with their minds has been elected as the new leader of the Green Party.
Zack Polanski won the ballot of party members after seeing off a joint leadership bid from Adrian Ramsay and Ellie Chowns.
I was once asked by a member of my late wife’s chambers, if she had had a breast op. The answer was very boring and we’d gone for a holiday in Milan and she’d done some expensive underwear shopping.
Never underestimate the power of quality structural engineering.

Where Are The Gluten-Free Jam Doughnuts?
Over twenty years ago, my late wife used to buy gluten-free jam doughnuts for me in Cambridge. As I am coeliac, all my cakes have to be gluten-free.
I don’t know where she got them, but barristers are great gossips and usually know the best places to shop around their chambers.
The last ones, I ate were in a cafe in Warsaw. Which is a long way to go for a snack!
For the last few months, I have been feeling a bit depressed, probably because of the weather and the various wars.
And I have feeling a couple of gluten-free doughnuts would cheer me up.
But can I find any? Not close to me!
At least, where I live, someone is mining large slabs of gluten-free chocolate chip and mandarin cake.

A Friend Has Just Been Diagnosed With Motor Neurone Disease
For all those suffering from the disease, O offer this uplifting tale.
My late wife; C was a barrister and one of her colleagues and our friends was a judge.
Towards the end of his life, he suffered from motor neurone disease and carried on sitting as a senior judge in Norwich.
After my wife and the judge had both passed away, I was invited to a party in my wife’s former Chambers.
At one point, I started talking with some of former colleagues about the judge. All of them agreed, that the quality of his judgements had not changed.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
