I’d been to Cadiz before with C and only had a brief time in the city, as I took the tour to Seville from the ship.
Note the bridge to nowhere or La Pepe bridge! Is it one of numerous infrastructure projects in Spain, caught up in the recession?

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

I’m now home in sunny Dalston in East London. I had more sun yesterday, than on the whole ten day cruise.

Ah – I’d just commented on your GF meals post, so my suggestion about Costa will be wasted this trip. Sorry you had miserable weather for what sounded like an interesting itinerary. Azura was very cold, but I did go in January (and I was on a work conference, so didn’t really get to explore).
