You see very few football teams wearing pink. But Birmingham City did today.

It’s actually Birmingham’s third kit, as The Sun reports here.
I would have thought, it wasn’t a good idea from a commercial point of view, as I suspect, pink replica shirts wouldn’t be good sellers.

Many of the avid fans I know would wear them shirts whatever colour they were. They will be popular with ladies and little girls, and might make them more interested in a strange sort of way

I don’t think I saw any Birmingham fans in pink. Incidentally, Birmingham is of course one of those clubs, where the nickname for the fans of bluenoses, incorporates the club colour.
