Northumberland Park Station Is Almost Finished
The new Northumberland Park station is almost finished, as these pictures show.
One thing that appears to be missing is a ticket machine on the River Lee or Eastern side of the station.

FYI, I saw the Orange Army installing the ‘fizzy knitting’ on the stretch just North of Lea Bridge Station completing the electrification in that area on Sat 23rd Feb. So I guess the ‘siding’ could now be live. By the way I still haven’t sussed out why they might be installing what look 7 ‘lighting poles’ alongside the Western edge of the new point work.

11th March. FYI I noticed they have cones along the stretch of new track from the new Meridian Water station southwards warning of overhead high voltage and also the signals were working so looks like testing is under way.
