This is an article in today’s Times.
As I have four B12 injections year, that would fit well with my health care.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

I too have vitamin b12 injections, after my B12 was finally checked; I have been saying this for years as I am on a medication which depletes b12. When they checked it was 203. It was last checked in 2012, and was 300. I now know that people lower than 300 are often put on injection or supplements, but nobody mentioned that to me, I was told it was normal. Since the injection, I have been feeling better than I have for ages. And my brain works. I no longer lose words in sentences, I can do killer sudoko and crosswords.

I dont take statins, because the one time I started I had a lot of side effects. If I did take them, I would have to come off them when I have treatment for my leukaemia anyway.

No idea what my B12 level, but London is difficult to boost it. I can’t find a shop, pub or restaurant that sells it. Goto Suffolk or say Wiltshire and it’s easy to find in a good pub.
