Aslef are probably the worst, now they want priority for subsidised housing over homeless families despite earning £70kpa for driving a tube train in London.
The biggest problem ATM is the rail unions blocking attempts to remove guards from trains that don’t need them. Having ended up stranded after a series of calamities one evening of which the crucial one was a guard not turning up for their shift.
PS If you want a laugh have a look at the YouTube videos of the TRU works. Count the number of “workers” leaning on spades or just standing around (sometimes ith a clipboard as a ‘prop’) as opposed to the number actually doing something.
