Leon Now Does Kedgeree
I had to leave early to get to the Burnley match for the 12:15 start. So I had this breakfast of mackerel kedgeree in Leon at Kings Cross station.

Leon Now Does Kedgeree
Very nice it was too!
I always think that kedgeree should be cooked more often!
You might wonder what this has to do with my trip to Gdansk!
I will be flying out of Liverpool Airport to Gdansk after seeing Ipswich at Burnley.
A Leon Built Like A Tardis
This Leon in Carnaby Street looks very small.
But inside it is rather spacious, with seating for a hundred or so. So it’s a true tardis, which of course we know is larger on the inside than it looks from the outside. i had gone for breakfast before I did some shopping.
This restaurant is ideally placed for Oxford Circus, so like today is a good place to start your shopping.
Note the tea mug, that would satisfy the most fussy builder.
leon may do real food, but they also do real mugs in quite a few of their restaurants.
Breakfast At Leon
I left home to do some photography without having any breakfast, so in the end I went to Leon in the depths of Canary Wharf to have one of their poached egg pots and a cup of tea.
How often have you had tea in a fast food restaurant in a proper china mug, that was virtually full-up? Especially, when the two items cost just £3.75 together. I took a picture of the poached egg pot in this post.
Leon Restaurants
I had lunch in the Leon restaurant in Spitalfields today.
I had a mackerel and beetroot salad with a home-made lemonade.
The restaurant is definitely worth a return visit.
