But it might fool someone.  Let’s hope it’s not you! After all, they’d stop sending them, if they didn’t find a mug in each batch they send.

But do note the Brazilian web site! The xxxx’s hide a dangerous web page, so don’t try and access it.

  1. There will be some who reply as you say. And some cynics might just assume that tax refunds are just another example of things being outsourced

    • I must admit that think that when politicians say that children are in most danger from the Internet, they are barking up the wrong tree. Kids are much more street-wise and Internet-wise than many who have been conned by e-mails like this. The solution to both problems is Internet Education, Internet Education, Internet Education!!! Filters on web sites, will just give the nasties a set of rules to bypass.

    • These people never give up.

      Mainly because they keep recruiting mugs. I sometimes think that we shouldn’t compensate these people who lose money unless we give them some training.

      After all, if you left your car in a dodgy part of town, with the keys in it, would the insurance company pay out?
