Good to see M & G getting involved in funding batteries.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
Zenobe seem to be pretty innovative. They have a battery installation near me at Capenhurst, which provides the Grid with reactive power, and they’re building several large installations in Scotland which they say will provide inertia and help maintain frequency https://www.zenobe.com/news-and-events/zenobe-begins-construction-on-pioneering-battery-storage-projects-totalling-750-million-in-scotland/ The articles on their site don’t seem to mention how exactly they’re doing this, but it all goes to show you don’t need large turbines to provide these kind of services. And that’s quite apart from the normal battery functions of storing excess power when supply exceeds demand, and then releasing it when the opposite is true.
