Amy Winehouse’s Cat
I met somebody yesterday, who has a cat that was once owned by the late Amy Winehouse.
Apparently, it has a few problems, like wanting to sit on top of everything, like doors and the microwave on top of the freezer.
The cat just seems to love to get high.
The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown
I’ve never actually seen the band, but I haven’t heard of them for years. So I was surprised to see this poster at the side of the road in Wigan.

The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown
But like most bands of the 1960s, the The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown seems to keep going.
Wheatstone Remembered
As I passed Kings College by the Aldwych yesterday, I passed this tribute to Charles Wheatstone.

Wheatstone Remembered
He was one of the more unusual scientists this country has ever produced and was a true scientist and inventor.
Dory Previn To Be Remembered
I wish I could get to New York for this concert.
A group of gifted artists have been added to the lineup of VINEYARD CELEBRATES THE SONGS OF Dory Previn, a special, one-night-only benefit concert featuring the brilliant and iconic work of the legendary singer and songwriter on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 7:00 PM at The Vineyard (108 E. 15 St., between Irving Place and Union Square East)
But I am elsewhere on that day.
I Meet The Underground Harpist Again
I met this harpist for the second time yesterday, in Oxford Circus Underground station.
The guy in the poster is showing an interesting expression!
It’s good to hear music, of any type of decent quality wafting through the tunnels. In fact, I don’t think, I’ve heard anything underground, that anybody would complain about.
An Unusual Place To Play your Drums
This guy was entertaining everybody at Kings Cross station.
You can’t question his ambition. He wasn’t too bad either!
I Brought My Piano To A Station And Someone Asked Me To Play
I took this photograph at St. Pancras station this morning.
It would appear it’s a street piano and that the music and the musicians are well liked.
The Galician Gaita
I hadn’t realised that there are bagpipes in Spain, but I saw this guy in Santiago de Compostela.
They are called the Galician gaita and they seemed to my untutored ear to be less harsh that those of our friends in the North.
A Good Pluck
I spotted this sign as I walked down the hill from the hotel to Liverpool Central station.
It’s for things like this, I always carry a camera.
