Back to Home Page Day 12 Day 14
It seems that long days have become the norm and here’s another one with Hereford, Huddersfield and Hull.
This day is really a continuation of Day 12, after an overnight in Hereford I suspect, I’ll be awake at about five so I’ll go and see the ground before I leave. I could go home via Ipswich, but because Leeds follows Ipswich, it’s probably best to do that on Day 14.

Back to Home Page Day 11 Day 13
It seems that long days have become the norm and here’s another one with Fulham, Gillingham, Hartlepool and Hereford.
In fact, it will probably be best to arrive as early as possible into Hereford and spend the night there. But the ground is close to the station.

Back to Home Page Day 10 Day 12
This is another long day, with Derby, Doncaster, Everton and Exeter. Although there might be a bit of rearrangement here, if I do Derby on Day 10.
I’ll try and do Derby early, as that will definitely mean I get to Exeter for the night and I might even be able to get back to London that night.

Back to Home Page Day 9 Day 11
This shown be an easy day with just Crewe, Crystal Palace and Dagenham and Redbridge to visit.
It is one day, where a bit of catch up might be possible, as I could probably be back at St. Pancras by 17:00 for a train to Derby to start Day 11. And as Pride Park isn’t far from the station, it would be possible to do a quick return.
I Don’t Think Prudence Will Call Alistair “Darling” Anymore!
I never took Alistair Darling seriously, as the name was given a very hard going over in Blackadder.
He at last seems to have shown some backbone in standing up to the that bully, Gordon Brown, in his memoirs according to many reports today. Here is the one from the BBC. I like this quote about Brown.
Gordon Brown was so deluded as prime minister that he was adamant one of the worst economic crisies in history would be over in six months.
How did NuLabor let such an idiot get the top job? I suspect that many saw the writing on the wall and Brown was holding the parcel when the music stopped.
Hot Bananas
Apparently, according to Deborah Ross in The Times, yesterday, Morrisons put their bananas under special lights to ripen them. She didn’t like it and expressed it this way.
Do I look like the sort of person, who wants to be wiping banana from the ceiling first thing in the morning?
It was all very funny. But it made me extremely unlikely ever to buy anything in Morrisons. et alone a solitary banana.
As I don’t drive, I’m not sure how I could ever visit a Morrisons. Or an Asda for that matter!
But there must be something very un eco-friendly about ripening bananas artificially, so they are actually hot.
On the other hand bananas are very nice, baked in brown sugar and lemon and served with custard.

Back to Home Page Day 8 Day 10
This day is a real odd one with Colchester, Coventry and if possible Crawley Town.
All three are fairly difficult to get from the train station to the football ground and to make matters worse it would appear that the trains to Colchester are subject to maintenance that weekend.
I think it should be possible, except for the fact, that I don’t know the buses at the train station and as it is Sunday can they be relied upon to be working.
92 Clubs By Public Transport Alphabetically in a Calendar Month – Day 8
This is a much easier day with Charlton and Chelsea, followed by Cheltenham and Chesterfield. The last team can be tacked on as there is a direct train from Cheltenham to Chesterfield.
Cheltenham are at home on the 8th, but it would appear, it’s impossible to see the match and then get back from Chesterfield.
92 Clubs By Public Transport Alphabetically in a Calendar Month – Day 7
This is three long journeys in one day, assuming that I end up coming back from Manchester on Day 6. But you expect that with Cardiff and Carlisle being two of the farthest clubs from London.

This is not an easy day, with Burnley, Burton Albion and Bury well separated.
I suspect I’ll end up in Manchester about 19:00 and do a quick trip out to Bury on the tram, before taking a train back to London. Or I might get ahead of myself and if there’s a suitable train get down to Cardiff for Day 7.
