Scatty Middle-Aged Mum ‘Reborn As Jihacker’s Wife’

This is the headline to a large piece in the Sunday’s Times, describing how a white female convert to Islam is tweeting offensively from land controlled by the Islamic State.

Surely, many of those who have gone to support the cruel and extremely violent regime in the Middle East would be how those that are best described as several bricks short of a full load.

Are we building enough secure mental hospitals?

These Beheaders Aren’t Jihadists, They’re The Cast Of A Clockwork Orange

This is the title of an article by Dominic Lawson in the Sunday Times today.

This is a typical thought.

the Financial Times writer Gautam Malkani last week observed of the diatribe of Foley’s killer: “As recruitment material, video footage of beheadings seem tailor-made to lure the most unhinged of maniacs to the fray. And yet by labelling them ‘terrorists’ or ‘militants’ instead of ‘lunatics’ or ‘nutters’ we unduly dignify them. We also play to the vanity of many young militant Islamists.

Sometimes, I think we’re watching a Muslim version of A Life of Brain. Except it’s not as funny. Perhaps someone should make a version, as there is no more powerful weapon against fanatics, psychopaths and dictators, than humour. I wonder how, this famous line from Monty Python’s classic would translate.

He’s not the Messiah. He’s a very naughty boy! Now, piss off!

The trouble is, no-one would dare make the film!

Labour’s Instinct Is To Control Our Lives

In an article discussing the identity of the psychotic moron, who beheaded the unfortunate James Foley, there is this insert.

Yvette Cooper, Labour’s shadow home secretary, said those returning from fighting in the Middle East should be forced to take part in compulsory de-radicalisation programmes, even if they cannot be charged with a criminal offence.

It may be a popular policy, but where does it end?  Will those who leave Oxford, who have joined the Bullingdon Club, be re-educated. And what about Malky Mackay and Iain Moody?

Let’s face it, one of the reasons we’re in this dangerous mess is because of Tony Blair’s continuous licking of Dubya’s arse.

I cdertainly wouldn’t trust the Labour Party, with anything. I doubt they could organise a piss-up in a brewery!

This Is Not The Way To Fight The IS Threat To Britain

This report on the BBC about the Islamic State threat to the UK worries me. Here’s the first bit.

Islamic State militants could grow strong enough to target people on the streets of Britain unless action is taken, David Cameron has warned.

The PM, writing in the Sunday Telegraph, said a “humanitarian response” to IS was not enough and a “firm security response” was needed.

It comes as Church leaders expressed concern that the UK had no “coherent” approach to tackling Islamic extremism.

By saying they are a threat so strongly, David Cameron is actually encouraging those disaffected young men, who want their five minutes of fame to do something that we’ll all regret.

We must find a way to channel this aggression that some young Muslim men feel into more worthwhile areas.

In the nineteen seventies and eighties, there was a lot of trouble in areas like Bristol, Brixton and Toxteth. I wonder how many of those, who might have thought about rioting are now pillars of society?

The solution will not be a simple one. But I can’t help feeling that better schools and transport infrastructure are two areas to start, as this gives us more of the better educated we need and allows them to travel to the jobs that are available.

We should also open up opportunities for Muslim women to become full members of society, whether the men like it or not. In fact you could argue that intelligent Muslim young women are one of the problems, as they are rejecting these idiot men and effectively giving them more reason to join the Islamic State.

Clamping down hard, as the Israelis have shown in Gaza, will just make matters worse.

Does Our Talking About Them Encourage ISIS?

The insurgents called ISIS in Iraq are very much driven by clever use of social media and the news, to put forward their violent psychopathic philosophy.

So does our worrying on news programs and in the newspapers, actually encourage them to do something even worse in the UK?

We should not ignore them, be vigilant and have plans in place, but perhaps to keep quiet in public might be the best course of action? All we’re doing is perhaps encouraging disaffecting people to join the organisation and various other elements to take direct action.
