Russian Grand Prix Cancelled Following Invasion Of Ukraine

How will Putin get his own back on Formula One?
He could ban Formula One for ever from Russia, but then somewhere else like Ukraine, Poland or one of the Baltic States would happily stage a Grand Prix.
“Ukraine, Poland or one of the Baltic States would happily stage a Grand Prix”
Ukraine is on its way to becoming a Russian satellite with a puppet government installed in the next few days.
Poland and the Baltic states are next on Putin’s list.
I doubt that Putin gives a tuppenny toss about F1 – though it’s a turn-up for the books that the sport’s ruling body has actually done something ethical. His The oligarchs will mourn the loss of a prominent platform on which to parade their mistresses.
I’ve instructed my suppliers not to use any goods sourced from Russia or its satellites, with immediate effect. If replicated by every company and government department in the free world this sort of action could, cumulatively, make a difference.
