It seems to me, that ReFUK’s rail plans are very much like Harold Wilson’s. In the future we won’t need railways, as everybody will have their own car.
But what about me. I lost my driving licence after a stroke. Just like that. I was given no right of appeal or reason why I’d lost it.
My last GP felt I might be able to get it back. But it saves me money, so I can hire a black cab, while they are still functioning.
But I’m not keen about driverless taxis, as I’m a Control Engineer by training. It looks like someone misprogrammed the safety system on the trains at Bedford last night.
Anybody, who’s ever raised children, knows that accidents will happen.
