Prostate Cancer Drug Trial Stopped Early
The headline was the bad news. But it was stopped because it would have been unethical to continue according to this report from the BBC, as the tests were so succssful.
So it was really good news!

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Hopefully good news. If you stop a trial early it doesnt always show long term issues with the drug in question. But the publicity means a lot of people with very advanced cancers will be demanding it even if it isnt directly relevant to their cancner, and even though it will only give them an extra few weeks of life, at a huge cost to the state and a huge profit to the drug company.
