Does Anybody Know Of A Covid Travel Consultancy?

There are a few places in Europe, that I’d like to go for a couple of days.

I can book all the train tickets and hotels myself, but what I would like is someone to review my route for a fee and send me a pack of all the things I need to do and take.

Countries, I would like to visit include France, Germany, Hungary and The Netherlands.

  1. Best to travel with an Interrail senior pass.I often go on trips abroad with this booking as much as I can myself. The problem at the moment is navigating each country’s rules for which the F.C.D.O’S website will give links. On a trip to Switzerland in November I had to download Passenger locator forms for the Netherlands as I went on the Harwich to Hoek van Holland night ferry and returned from Amsterdam via Eurostar,Germany and Switzerland. Also for transit on Eurostar for Belgium and France.Testing required before departure just to get into the Netherlands and others on the way and also on the return home.Vaccination certificates also needed and best to get the Swiss Covid app to which the NHS covid vaccination certificate can be downloaded.NHS certificates are recognised in Europe as equivalent but take a long time to show up on phone. Was worth it in the end despite the extra expense and aggravation and plan to go again in the spring. If you can contact me privately happy to advise more and no fee required!

  3. Also not forgetting need to transit Austria to get to Hungary and possibly Czech Republic and Slovakia depending on chosen route to Budapest.
By the way I am a Suffolk resident.

  4. I am not aware of such a consultancy, but you might find this digest of current travel restrictions arising from the pandemic helpful. https://www.euronews.com/travel/2022/01/17/what-s-the-latest-on-european-travel-restrictions

    Kind regards, John Davison
