West Drayton Station – 22nd June 2202

I passed through West Drayton station today and took these pictures.

Note.

  1. The rebuilding of the station is almost finished.
  2. There are three platforms that can be used by the Elizabeth Line.
  3. The new Platform 5 is still to be completed

The station is fully step-free between street and platform, but not between train and platform.

  1. I believe the track alongside Platform 5 is currently used as an avoiding line for freight trains. Is it intended to bring it back into passenger use?

    • It has signage for it is, but the platform needs finishing.
