Is Something Happening At Highview Power?
It seems to be impossible to connect to the Highview Power web site.
I get the message, that my security is not private.
There is also no news of the company in the last month.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Well it looks as though its SSL Certificate has lapsed, but why?
I looked at Highview Power’s entry at Companies House
https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/12166228
At the foot of the Overview page it says that the company although active, is classified as “Dormant”.
I copied the following from a Government website:
….Your company or association may be ‘dormant’ if it’s not doing business (‘trading’) and doesn’t have any other income, for example investments.
apparently Dormant means different things for:
# Corporation Tax and Company Tax Returns
# annual accounts and returns for Companies House if you have a limited company……
Looking at their accounts filing history I notice that their last submission was the 17 Nov 2021 and entitled “Accounts for a dormant company made up to 31 August 2021”. You’d expect to see an entry for 2022 by now.
Unless there’s some other information to the contrary it seems to me that we and the media have been wasting our time.

Working for me too!

Whatever was wrong earlier seems to have resolved itself; and with a new Website.
That doesn’t change the company’s status with Companies House though.

It’s quite normal for a startup to be dormant, i.e. not doing any taxable business, but that seems to mean, as of August – their last filing – Highview still doesn’t have any orders or employees. So, not much happening…

When you look for Highview Enterprises, an active company rather than Highview Power it all starts to make sense.
You can see all the vital statistics here:
https://pomanda.com/company/04489271/highview-enterprises-limited.
Why the website talks about Highview Power I’ve no idea.
