Do They Paint Their Own Toilets Like This?
I took these pictures in the toilet of a Thameslink train.
It is vandalism, pure and simple and those that did this should spend a long time in a suitable prison!
But then I hate graffiti and others might consider it art!

It’s that kind of thing that really puts people off travelling on public transport – it’s quite intimidating. Plus it costs a lot of money to remove, of course.

There is also a cultural thing in Liverpool, that those who do that are ‘knobheads’. Something from London.
It is also a black thing. In London most is done by black kids who copy the USA.

Hear hear. I also hate graffiti and wish it attracted greater penalties. The temptation is to give the judiciary powers to order perpetrators’ property to be grafittied, although it will of course never happen (and most perpetrators are never caught)

Many years ago, I worked with British Rail on analysing data on cable theft. I was told that the same low life were sometimes involved in both and they felt that trespass on the railway should be treated much more seriously.
They were also worried that a trespasser could be killed and some lawyer would win a settlement for millions, as they hadn’t fenced the railway properly.
